The IOZK is a translational centre and develops immuno-oncological treatments on the basis of new scientific findings.

These are combined individually for each patient in the best possible way. This is why randomised clinical trials are not conducted at the IOZK. These require the same treatment protocol for all patients in the experimental group and a reference group that does not receive any treatment. However, there are scientifically valid methods that are far more suitable for investigating the effectiveness of a highly individualised therapy. It is of great concern to us to contribute to scientific progress and the development of modern immunotherapy against tumour diseases.
